We maintain a mailing list through MailChimp that contains the email addresses of individuals who have opted to receive updates and information from MPAA. By subscribing to our mailing list, you agree to receive periodic emails from us. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our emails.
8.1 Supporter Data Storage: We take the privacy and security of our supporters’ personal information very seriously. When you sign up for our mailing list through MailChimp, we collect and store your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and city/town. This information is stored in a secure spreadsheet that is only accessible to the Executive Board of MPAA. No third parties will ever have access to this secure spreadsheet and we will never sell your information to a third party. We only collect and store the information that is necessary to keep you informed about our organization and events. If you opt-in to receive updates from us, we may also send you occasional emails about important news or events related to our mission. We do not share your information with any third parties unless we are required to do so by law. 8.2 Email Communication: MPAA utilizes ProtonMail to send encrypted and secure emails to our supporters who communicate with us via email.
