TERMS OF DONATION
By making a donation to Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance, Inc. (“MPAA”), you agree to these terms of donation.
DONATION PAYMENT PROCESSING: All donations are processed through a third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Please review Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy for information on how they process and protect your information.
REFUNDS: Donations are refundable within 30 days from the date of the transaction. To request a refund, please email director@compassionforpatients.com with your name, the date of the transaction, and the amount of the donation.
TAX DEDUCTIBILITY: Donations to MPAA are not tax-deductible. MPAA is a 501(c)(4) social welfare nonprofit organization and donations to 501(c)(4) organizations are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.

DONOR INFORMATION: MPAA takes the privacy of our donors seriously. We collect and use donor information, including name, email address, mailing address, and donation amount, solely for the purpose of processing your donation and keeping you informed about MPAA’s activities if you have opted in to our mailing list. Donor information is stored in a secure document that is only viewable by the MPAA Executive Board. We will only keep information necessary to maintain accurate records of our donors.
USE OF DONATIONS: MPAA uses donations to cover expenses related to operating as a nonprofit organization. This includes costs associated with advocacy, public education, and outreach efforts.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: MPAA will send an email acknowledgement to the donor after the donation is processed. The acknowledgement will include the date and amount of the donation, MPAA’s tax identification number, and a reminder that donations to MPAA are not tax-deductible.
