PEDIATRIC ACCESS TO MEDICAL USE CANNABIS IN MASSACHUSETTS
In order for a pediatric patient (Less than 18 years of age) to obtain access to the Massachusetts medical marijuana program:
- A parent or guardian must approve of the medical cannabis use.
- The patient must receive certification by two Certifying Health Care Providers, one of whom must be a pediatrician or pediatric specialist.
- In order to obtain cannabis products for a pediatric patient, a parent or guardian must register as a caregiver to obtain and transport medical cannabis.
